CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

BIOGRAPHY

I joined Crossfit Saguaro in 2016 as one of the “OG” garage members after moving to Tucson from Las Vegas.  It’s been amazing to be on this journey with the gym watching it evolve to what it is today.

After consistently training at CF Saguaro for almost 3 years, I decided to get my CFL1 Certificate in 2019 to expand my knowledge about Crossfit and its methodology.  That weekend made me realize I would love to help out our community and make a difference in people’s lives by becoming a coach.  I joined the coaching staff shortly thereafter and it’s been such an amazing, humbling and fulfilling experience – a far cry from my prior career as an accountant working in corporate America!  I’ve really enjoyed connecting with the members and finding out how best to coach each one to help them achieve their individual health and fitness goals.  My favorite part of coaching is getting to see our members’ progress throughout their journey with us, whether that be from starting as a newbie to becoming a beast in the gym, setting a PR on a lift or achieving a skill that they never thought possible, like a pull-up!  The looks on their faces says it all!  Knowing I helped play a part in that gives me all the happy feels. 🙂

Outside the gym, I love to spend time with my family, which consists of my husband, Billy (who is also a member), my 2 rambunctious boys and our 3 crazy dogs. I love to travel and explore new places.  I’m a bit of an adventure seeker/adrenaline junkie and do some things one might consider crazy: sky dive, bungee jump, cage dive with great whites, walk with lions and cheetahs. I also really love animals A LOT.

Lastly, I play the best class workout music.  Soki thinks he does but he just takes my stuff…Shhhh :X
